All you need is love. And maybe some wizardry, immortality, and noble intrigue, perhaps. Sometimes the greatest romances are born from the most fantastical situations. Aeduan and Iseult from Susan Dennard’s The Witchlands series are definitely one of our favorite OTP’s so in honor of them and the publication of Bloodwitch, coming just in time for Valentine’s Day on February 12th, we made a list of a few other notable OTP’s in YA fantasy. Aeduan & Iseult (The Witchlands Series by Susan Dennard)

There’s a fine line between love and witchery. As a Bloodwitch Aeduan can track the blood scent of others and sense their magic. Although he can’t sense Threadwitch Iseult’s blood, he senses there’s something between them. Starting off as allies, their relationship is slowly building to something more and we are most definitely here for it.
Hermione & Ron (The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling)
Is it even possible to have an OTP list without Hermione and Ron’s slow burn romance? I don’t think so. It may have taken them several years—and books—to finally officially get together, but we knew right away this couple was an OTP.
Clary & Jace (The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare)
These two have a rocky road to love. They are attracted to one another from the start, but there are perils that threaten their love at every turn. We’re just glad these two weren’t actually sister and brother—whew! (We also have a soft spot for both ships in the Clockwork series!)
Bella & Edward (The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer)
A love for all eternity—literally. These two should not be together. But Bella (a mortal) and Edward (a vampire) cannot resist one another. Bella loves Edward so much that she makes Edward turn her into a vampire so they can be together forever. Throw in a love triangle with a werewolf and you have a fantasy OTP of an immortal lifetime.
Feyre & Rhys (A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas)
These two are fire! They have so much chemistry and literally have a mating bond. As the High Lady and High Lord of the Night Court, they trust one another with their lives and are even willing to die for one another. True #relationshipgoals.
Mare & Cal (Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard)
Mare first encounters Cal in a tavern where she tries to steal from him. Little did she know that he would go on to steal her heart. Though they come from very different worlds and classes, and almost never agree on anything, they’re still able develop a true love that neither of them can deny.
